| Description*: | Who is the Sadist? Welcome to New Babylon City. Survival here is dependent on your ability to keep secrets and tell lies. Almost everyone here lives by those two rules, including Presidential candidate, Jack St. John, a former masked hero made famous for eliminating the city's most dire threat. But that threat has returned and promises to bring the city to its knees. Will Jack St. John put the mask back on or will a new hero with far more sadistic tendencies save New Babylon from an apparent evil resurrected from the dead? When the Sadist arrives everything the people of this city have known will be turned upside down. His idea of justice is both brutal and permanent. Meanwhile the villainous Whitechapel has his sights on destruction and death and worse. When the three finally converge everyone's lives will be irrevocably changed, including Jack St. John's wife, Detective Abigail Cross, who has tried her hardest to hold onto the values her father raised her with.
