A vast plethora of highly stylized characters give life to Stanton's sense of humor through various media and approaches to comics as a means of story telling and joke delivery. The aesthetic styles vary from comic to comic, wavering from detail oriented pen drawings into complete skull crushing pyschedelia. There are a few notable recurring characters and ongoing stories (The Herbivores, Archibald Ducke, Snrmphk the Slob, etc.) but most comics are unique in terms of characters and plot.
