| Description*: | Historical adventure in Iron Age Ireland, based on Irish mythology. An adaptation of the ancient Ulster Cycle epic Táin Bó Cúailnge, in which queen Medb of Connacht invades Ulster at the head of a great army to steal a fertile stud bull, and the only Ulsterman fit to oppose her is the king of Ulster's sixteen-year-old nephew Cú Chulainn. A follow-up to Patrick Brown's earlier Ulster Cycle comic, "Ness", "The Cattle Raid of Cooley" is set forty years later. Some of the characters have already appeared, and others are descended from characters we have met already. It updates every Wednesday, starting on 6 August 2008. | ||||
