| Description*: | Temple Roots is set in a fantasy world but it is not a world filled with magic or Elves. It is inhabited by The Tribe and their foes The Difference. The Tribe has hidden from The Difference for nearly a thousand years in the shadow of a Temple that they believe keeps them safe. Although they live in fear that The Difference will one day return they have settled into a peaceful farming lifestyle. So much so in fact, that nobody can remember if The Difference were real or not. This is the story of a young boy called Taledo from The Tribes village. He begins to have nightmarish dreams of falling into a fetid pit of blackness. He is advised to make a sacrifice at a nearby temple in order to dispel his dreams and shed light into them. Not only does the sacrifice not work but The Difference return while he making it and take the village as slaves. Taledo is then left in a state of confusion not knowing what to do. So he makes his way down to the village and hides from The Difference there. As he is crossing the bridge to the town Taledo is seen sneaking past one of The Difference troops. This soldier follows Taledo up into the village and so we come to know him as The Follower. He is on Taledo’s heels throughout the story and becomes the main villain. The Story then follows Taledo on his quest to save his people from the evil clutches of The Difference. The Difference however has its own agenda with the peaceful people of The Tribe. Are they really as evil as the Tribe thinks or is this just a part of some master plan set in motion millions of years earlier? Time will tell... | ||||
