Description*: | Understanding Geek, while featured heavily around the collaborative creative efforts of myself and Matthew, is about much more than just getting people to read a comic. Being a geek in the present age is an increasingly desirable trait in a well-balanced person. Let’s face it, the overwhelming majority of us are geeks about something. The term no longer applies exclusively to D&D players and pimple-ridden teenagers who are too shy to talk to a girl. A lot of us are Renaissance Geeks now, too. We play all kinds of games, from RPGs to tabletop board and war games, and further on. We watch sci-fi movies and tv shows, anime and cartoons, and we always have an arguable and defensible point of view on why we don’t like what we don’t like. We interact, thanks to Twitter and Facebook, in ways that have shattered the “I’m the only geek” mentality that had been forced on so many for so long. | ||||
