Fun Sci-Fi Webcomic That Keeps Getting Better
DISCLAIMER! I'm friends with the creators of Explorers... but I have opinions about the comic regardless of that and I promise to be totally honest in my review :)

Basically, Explorers of the Unknown is a sci-fi super-powers-without-superheroes story done in a comic book format. Each story is around 15-25 pages long, and I think new pages come out on Tuesday.

The art has grown a lot since the story began and it's only gotten stronger. Sometimes the lettering can be a little off, though, so if bad grammar drives you crazy, watch out for the older Explorers stories.

Something that's always confused me about Explorers is how these characters met and how they got their powers... that's sort of being addressed in the story that's going on right now (at least for the character, Jane). And, to be honest, I'd like a little more backstory because I'm still confused.

But you could never claim that Explorers wastes time with exposition. It almost always tosses you right into the middle of the action and worries about everything else later. It's focused on the fun and the action of the tale first and foremost. Oh and sometimes there are cool little twists to the endings, especially now that Seth has joined the original writer/artist Shawn as a co-writer.

All-in-all, it's got some rawness to it, but it keeps getting more and more polished as it goes on. It's fun to watch the artist develop as the characters develop. And I know a few things about what they have planned for the future, and I think it's only gonna get better.
