Description*: | Garnet and Gure play, argue about and design video games in this strip about a modern gaming couple. It's quirky, warm and funny, and artist Micah Kolding has a good sense of timing and how to make a three-panel strip fun. Updates on Tuesdays and Saturdays. | ||||

Recommended to anyone who has ever felt surrounded by dorks. Gamer dorks, anime dorks, furry dorks, LARPers, YouTubers, flamers, emos, and slackers, the ones we love and the ones we hate, they all get a delightful send up in this strip.
This comic's weakness is in its presentation. The pictures are expressive and frequently funny, but the creator is clearly a writer first and an artist second. Still, the style has evolved noticeably since the inception.
That said, the writing is just damn funny. With intelligence and good timing, this comic has a fun and snarky way of capturing every dork I have ever loved or hated. The titular characters are so far away from the typical tiring archetypes that I usually expect in a "gaming" comic (a guy who doesn't talk about boobs or beer every other word and a girl who has a personality and doesn't expect you to be impressed that she's a girl? Shock and awe!). This is a strip I will be reading regularly.
