| Description*: | A novel by Charles Bukowski, I read it some years back and recently thought that it would be fun to do a version as a graphic novel. It's a semi-autobiographical novel about growing up in depression-era Los Angeles. He has a skill for telling tragic stories in a style that makes them impossibly funny. There's a lot less heavy drinking in this book than his other novels, my second favourite of his is "Post Office." I read that first and I really liked the mood of his books. At the moment this is still a work in progress, I'm working on new chapters and on improving areas of the pages you see here. | ||||
