There are a lot of strips out there that try to make up for a lack of compelling plot or decent humor with promises of NSFW titillation. "Treading Ground" is what happens when such a strip forgets to titillate. With a well-rendered but unoriginal drawing style, this strip delivers what could be best described as "'Clerks' with a 'Hi and Lois' sense of humor, and maybe the occasional boob."
