Description*: | Ideally a communal comic archive, centered around the Deep Space Vessel - "Nautica". Originally the idea being that artists can create their own sci-fi situations upon a vessel of massive complexity and size; free to modify their own peice of Nautica into whatever they want. In actuality there has been little additional material added to the DSV Nautica universe besides the work provided by creator Rei Vegan. | ||||

As a webcomic creator, as intensely bizarre as my own comic is, I have pretty specific standards in regards to what I read recreationally. I'm pretty damn judgemental, especially in regards to Furry work, until this site recently added me and kinda softend my opinion on all that.
Moving right along. Sci-fi is a really, really easy genre to screw up epically, and since everyone and there brother believes that you can write and draw sci-fi (though in reality everone and there brother have proven beyond measure that they CAN'T write or draw sci-fi), good sci-fi is hard to come by.
DSV Nautica does not disappoint. It's well written, and in it's more recent stages, really beautifully drawn. The plot line has come a long way from its original incarnation, and has become engrossing and epic in it's own way.
The art is very sexy, and the character developement, backstory, and potential backstory that will be shown as the comic progresses are very engrossing.
A word to the wise, it is a comic with graphic sex scenes, so if you're not interested in that, I would avoid this one.
For those of you with a more open mind, especially the sci-fi junkies out there, I consider this one a must read.
