Opening it could be like the "bag of winds" in the Odyssey. warhawk: Oh you can actually survive inside one for a bit before suffocating. It's really trying to stash a portable hole in one that's... inadvisable. Well, unless you WANT to get sucked into the Astral Plane with no way home. KDNightstar: Funny--I always thought that a Bag of Holding was a portal to a huge storage room in a literal pocket universe. You didn't put things into the bag, the bag was just the entrance to the storage room that could be carried around. Veritas: Yes, so is a portable hole. Putting one dimensional gateway through another seems to be Highly Inadvisable, though. Solomon memprys: Kathy: I just wanted to say how much I like the Buckaroo Banzai reference. Lee M: Said it before, but it's really bloody annoying that SQ doesn't have page comments. Also that they just restarted their numbering, so I have to renumber the pages when downloading. warhawk: Really wish they had a comment page too, don't want to turn this into one for the comic but have things to say... like Mama looking serious for once and Baby looking adorably cute. I'll leave it there though! lol KDNightstar: Thanks, Solomon! I never watched the film, but it seemed like a perfect nickname for a loose cannon like Koz! Lee M: After apologizing for being late, iAcryden, the is even later. warhawk: Currently sucked into the archives of a newly-added series: iGamer Cafe. Silly little comedy strip with mimis (catgirl/bois, dog, snep, etc). Been running since 2013, so quite the dive but interesting to see how it's changed. warhawk: It's funny when you get to year 11 of an archive binge and a familiar character cameos that makes you realize they have the same creator and, oh yeah, THAT'S why you appreciate the warped humor just as much. KDNightstar: On the CTC we're discussing "what makes a good archive." Anybody have any suggestions? Phoex: Breaking up into chapters or books is good, a link to a random strip (especially for gag a day) ntp: Tagging individual strips and having a search function is nice, especially for long-running strips. TyVulpine: I always thought Housepets! had a good archive. TyVulpine: (also Kevin & Kell and Whiteboard, though Whiteboard hasn't updated it's chapter index in a while) Phoex: Schlock Mercenary has a good one too KDNightstar: But what things make them good archives? That's the question. LeeMorrison: I wish the search function would let me sort by author name. TyVulpine: @KDNightstar, K&K sorts by year, month and date. Whiteboard sorts by story arc. Housepets sorts by year and date. KDNightstar: Thanks. Phoex: I like the ability to go to a random strip myself Solomon memprys: I'll be randomly stripping at PRIDE events all summer.
