Johnny Saturn is great because it isn't afraid to challenge how people view superhero comics and how the fans view them as well. There is a lot of satire and it can be pretty cynical in stages but this helps enhance the comic to be what it is: a great, down and dirty superhero comic!
Johnny Saturn is a superhero comic not afraid to be different from the big guns but still paying homage to the roots, from the golden age straight through to the modern age. Check it out.
