Yet another web-comic set in the Garrityverse of cute weird science mixed with slice-of-life plot lines. This time set in school, with cute, adorable, deranged and moderately creepy kids. Li'l Mell of the title being all four.
As usual, Shaenon pulls this off gracefully, and with wit and charm. Creating another fantastic ensemble cast of supporting characters, from Shovelhead to Home School Joe.
Occasionally drawn by guest artists as well as Shaenon, which adds a unique flavour to the comic. The strip is currently on hiatus pending either a new guest artist, or some time for Shaenon to draw new strips herself.
