The heir to "Darken" shows early promise
Kate Ashwin defies expectations again.
First, she wrote an adventure comic from the perspective of the bad guys triumphing over good with "Darken". The world of tropes had to do a handstand to catch up.
Recently, she started Widdershins, and is amusing me with the idea of a Magician, who is also a Wizard in a world that shins one and scoffs at the other. Unfortunately for Sid, he is not quite good enough at either to make a living. At least he is optimistic right? Right!?
He is deliciously flawed, and plying his "other" trades is what gets him into trouble...
